The University of Qom is hosting this edition of the event, which has competitions in 40 categories in 9 sections.
The participants compete in the fields of Quran recitation and memorization, Adhan (call to prayer), recitation of supplications, Tawasheeh (religious songs), literature, arts, Quranic research and Quranic innovations, among others.
More than 80 experts in different fields serve as members of panels of arbiters in the competitions.
There are also sideline programs for the participants, including visits to the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and tours of Qom.
The festival will conclude with the awarding ceremony on Friday evening.
